Returns, Refunds, and Warranty Policy
Scope of Application
This policy applies to rooftop tents and accessories purchased online on the Baze House website.
Pickup trucks, trailers, and other products subject to a specific ordering process are not covered by the e-commerce terms described on this page. The terms applicable to these products are specified at the time of order and in our General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with the Consumer Code, the consumer has 14 days from the date of receipt of the product to exercise the right of withdrawal, without having to provide a reason for the decision.
In the case of an order consisting of multiple items delivered separately, the period begins on the date of receipt of the last item, batch, or piece.
To exercise their right of withdrawal, the customer must notify Baze House of their decision before the 14-day period expires, using the standard withdrawal form provided with the contract or any other unambiguous statement expressing their intention to withdraw.

Simply returning the product, without first providing notice of withdrawal, is not sufficient to exercise the right of withdrawal.
Product Returns
After notifying the seller of their decision to cancel the purchase, the customer has up to 14 days to return the product.

The customer is responsible for the direct return shipping costs.
The customer is responsible for any depreciation of the product resulting from handling other than that necessary to determine its nature, characteristics, and proper functioning.
Special Case of Roof Tents
Due to their weight and size, roof tents require special shipping and cannot be returned via standard mail.
If the right of withdrawal is exercised, the customer is responsible for the direct return shipping costs, which are estimated at €350 per roof tent.

Refund
In the event of a valid cancellation, Baze House will refund the amounts paid for the item in question, including the initial shipping costs, within the limits set forth by applicable regulations, no later than 14 days after the date on which Baze House is notified of the customer’s decision to cancel.
Baze House may delay the refund until the product is received or until the customer provides proof of shipment, whichever occurs first.
Refunds are issued using the same payment method used when placing the order, unless the customer expressly agrees to another refund method that does not incur additional fees.
Defective or Nonconforming Product
The right of withdrawal is distinct from statutory warranties.
Products sold by Baze House to consumers are covered, in particular, by the statutory warranty of conformity and the statutory warranty against hidden defects, under the conditions set forth in the applicable regulations.
For new goods, the consumer has, in particular, a period of 2 years from the date of delivery of the goods to take action under the statutory warranty of conformity.

Commercial Warranties
Any commercial warranties offered on certain roof tents or accessories are in addition to the statutory warranties and do not replace them.
Their duration and terms may vary depending on the product or product line in question.
Product Warranty – Jovive Roof Tents
For Jovive rooftop tents purchased directly from Baze House, a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty, effective from the date of purchase, is provided in accordance with the terms and conditions applicable to this product line.
During this period, Baze House will repair or replace, in accordance with the terms of this commercial warranty, any covered parts that are defective.
In particular, this commercial warranty does not cover:
- damage caused by misuse, an accident, or an external event;
- normal wear and tear;
- purely cosmetic defects resulting from use that do not affect the product's functionality;
- damage resulting from unauthorized modifications or interventions.
For the affected Jovive models, the specific coverage for the gelcoat is subject to the warranty terms applicable to the product.
This commercial warranty applies without prejudice to the statutory warranties to which the consumer is entitled.
Product Warranty – Jovive Accessories
Jovive accessories may be covered by a 1-year manufacturer's warranty starting from the date of purchase, subject to the terms and conditions applicable to the product.
This commercial warranty is in addition to the applicable statutory warranties and does not replace them.
Other Roof Tents and Accessories
For other lines of rooftop tents and accessories sold by Baze House, any applicable warranties and their terms are as indicated on the product page or in the corresponding warranty terms.
Regardless of whether or not a commercial warranty exists, Baze House remains liable for the applicable statutory warranties in its capacity as a professional seller.
